Salt of the Earth

Salt
is one of the universe’s greatest gifts and is found in the planet’s
earth,
water, and air.
The many beneficial attributes of salt were discovered centuries ago. It
is used as an antiseptic, a food-flavoring enhancer, a preservative, to dispel negative
energy, to ward off evil spirits, among many other uses. In the healing
business, salt is one of the most frequently used minerals in the
cleaning
process for energy healing.
Salt helps preserve fresh food so that it can be used months, or even a
year later without losing its nutritional value. For example, covering cod or
meat with sea salt and drying it for a few weeks will preserve the food for a long
time. This technique is still used today on the islands of Greece to make a
delicious dish called bakaliarou (salt dried cod) that can be enjoyed all year round.
Aura Cleanser: To use salt to cleanse your aura, fill a regular-sized
bath tub with warm water, dissolve two pounds (approximately three mugs) of table
salt in the bath , and soak in the solution for 15 to 20 minutes. This will
allow all negative energies and diseased energies to be released and dissolved
into the salt water. After soaking, thoroughly rinse off the salt with soap or by
showering. You are done!
I recommend my clients take salt baths on a regular basis. To maintain a
clean aura, I recommend at least one salt bath per week. For my clients with challenging illnesses, three or four baths
a week is highly recommended.
One client, who lived by the ocean, went for daily swims of 15 minutes. This helped clean her aura faster and,
as a result, accelerated her healing process.
The salt need not be fancy or expensive. Regular table salt is fine, and
it doesn’t matter if it is iodized or not. Do not use Epsom salt as it
contains other minerals that are absorbed by the body. The objective here is to cleanse, not to reabsorb. Do not share
your bath water with others. Drain and rinse the tub to
ready it for use by another person.
Room/space Cleanser:
This is a great tool for healers who have their own
practice or share rooms with other healers. Fill a plastic bowl with a
couple of cups of water, add three or four tablespoons of salt, then leave the
bowl on the floor of your work space. Water attracts energy and salt disintegrates
negative or diseased energy. I change the salt water in my clinic daily,
always disposing of it in the toilet. Do not use the same bowl for any other purpose,
especially not for food. Keep it for the sole purpose as a space cleanser.
Using Dorothea healing salt scrub brand: Sacred Aura Cleanser.
(To be
used between baths and when working with clients.) For healers who use their hands, like massage therapists, I recommend
using this brand of salt scrub between client appointments. Wet your hands up
to the elbow with water, scoop out a tablespoon or so of the salt scrub
mixture, and then gently massage both hands up to the elbow with the salt mixture
with an intention or request such as: “Please assist in disintegrating all
diseased and negative energies and releasing and expelling them off my hands”. Hold
that intention for a few seconds then rinse your hands with clean water.
This special mixture of salt, essential oils of lavender, tea tree and
other oils, has been prayed on and programmed as a sacred aura cleanser. It is not an ordinary scrub. I use it on my
whole body when I travel and on days when I am unable to take a salt bath. Just scrub gently in a counter-clockwise
motion over the body, paying special attention to arms, underarms, the solar plexus, legs, and the soles of the feet.
